About Abhishek
I’m Abhishek and I’m the Creative Director and Photographer behind the brand, Abhishek Dekate Co. - a digital brand with a focus on home, interior design, food and entertaining.
From a young age, I was always passionate for all things creative. From spending countless hours with family experimenting in the kitchen to constantly designing and decorating my childhood bedroom, I knew that I would eventually end up in a place where I could merge all of my passions into one.
My journey began when I moved to Toronto from Calgary for Culinary School which then led me to go back to school for Hospitality and Tourism Management, both at George Brown College. After working in the hospitality industry for years, I knew I wanted to do more. I went and purchased my very first camera and the rest is history.
When I’m not creating content, you can find me testing out a new recipe, working on a DIY project for my apartment or plotting my next adventure.
